IPPC – Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control
Integrated permit is a special type of a building permit and occupancy permit for installations listed in the annex to the Act on integrated pollution prevention and control. The permit is issued by the Slovak Environmental Inspectorate based on an application prepared according to a form recommended by the Ministry of Environment.
The application is a comprehensive document with several annexes of various scope, depending on the type and size of the planned installation (or planned change of installation). The application also contains a comparison with best available techniques (BAT).
